Hailing from Italy, the flamboyant design partnership Venturini and Giovannoni founded the iconic King Kong design studio in the 1980s. They have worked with Alessi for many years and have had many other successful design collaborations, including the Girotondo line of household appliances in metal and plastic, that feature the instantly-reconigsable cut-out stick man design. The pair have cemented their status as modern design icons with an unparalleled skill in understanding and visually representing public sentiment.
