Tolomeo Decentrata Suspension Lamp
The Tolomeo Decentrata Suspension Lamp has been designed by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for the brand Artemide. The clever design suspends this lamp in mid-air with an impressive arm that bends in a striking design. It can hang over a table, desk or workbench and light the area perfectly.
The Tolomeo Decentrata Suspension Lamp has a round shade made of parchment paper, silk satin fabric or aluminium. On top, it is attached to a support that hides cables. It connects to a short metallic arm joined to cantilever arms with flexible joints. They go into a round metallic canopy in the ceiling along with a suspension cable. Pulling on the arms makes it possible to cast light in a precise direction. The light is cast through a diffuser made of matte aluminium. It softens the white light and makes it glare-free. The cantilevered arms are made of polished aluminium while the joints are made of polished aluminium.
The Tolomeo Decentrata Suspension Lamp comes in two sizes. One has a width of 154cm and a height of 80cm while the other has a width of 156cm and a diameter of 76cm. It is dimmable. It works with an E27 socket and comes in neutral colours.
