Cosmic Leaf Terra Floor Lamp
The Cosmic Leaf Terra Floor Lamp has been created by Ross Lovegrove for the brand Artemide. Its design and polished finish give it the look of a prestigious trophy. It won its designer the U.S. Chicago Athenaeum Chicago Good Design Award in 2010.
The Cosmic Leaf Terra Floor Lamp gets its name from its shade which resembles a leaf. Made of steel that has a chrome finish, it is complete with a vertical line that divides it into two and little lines running across the two sides. What appears as a vertical line in front is actually a narrow, metallic stem that goes up the back of the shade and then comes down to connect the shade to the base below. It is also made of steel and has a cylinder shape. It conceals a transparent methacrylate diffuser that casts soft, glowing light. The shade's pattern creates an intriguing pattern of light and shadows when the lamp is turned on.
The Cosmic Leaf Terra Floor Lamp has a width of 38cm, a height of 192cm and a depth of 22.2cm. Its cable has a length of 200cm and its base has a diameter of 22cm. It works with a G53 socket. It comes in neutral colours.
