Bon Jour Unplugged Additional Shade
The Bon Jour Unplugged Additional Shade was designed by Philippe Starck for the Italian lighting label Flos.
Flos was launched in Merano, Italy, by Sergio Gandini in 1962. Since then, it has been revolutionising the world of lighting design for both public and domestic spaces. The label embraces the latest lighting technologies while honouring traditional design and craft skills. Since opening his Paris studio in 1968, Philippe Starck has become an icon of the design world working on both large and small-scale projects that range from super-yachts to lemon squeezers. He has received both the prestigious Designer of the Year Award and the Best Design Oscar.
The Bon Jour Unplugged Additional Shade is designed to complement the label's minimalistic Bon Jour table lamp created by Starck in 2015. This rechargeable table lamp is a highly functional piece for modern interiors that can be customised with the shade's different finishes. The different designs of the Bon Jour Unplugged Additional Shade, some of which are transparent, provide a look that works with any decor. The shade is 5.5cm in depth and 13.15cm in diameter.
