Series 7™ Chair Lacquered Monochrome Set of 4
The Series 7™ Chair Lacquered Monochrome has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. As with other chairs in the series, it is made using layers of veneer that have been compressed together. The layers form a sturdy curved shell. This chair, which is one unified shell with no joints, has a backrest that is wide at the top edge and narrow at the lower edge. It then broadens out to form a well-sized seat. The design gives the chair a graceful, sleek silhouette of lines and curves. The shell, which has a semi-glossy lacquer finish, sits on a frame of steel tubes.
