Saarinen Dining Table Ø120cm
The Saarinen Dining Table Ø120cm has been created by Eero Saarinen for the brand Knoll International. The late Finnish-American architect and industrial designer played a leading role in the world of mid-century American architecture. His imaginative daring led him to dream up and sketch designs that were structurally adventurous and tended to defy convention. This is exemplified by the Saarinen Dining Table Ø120cm that he designed in 1957 and which is still in demand today. A strong dislike of the four standard table legs led him to create pedestal base tables that were revolutionary. The table has a circular top and a matching base. The tabletop and base are joined with a trumpet-shaped threaded stem. The tabletop, which has a beveled edge, is made of Rilsan high-performance polyamides that make it weatherproof. The base is made of heavy moulded cast aluminum. The table has Sustainable Design and Environmental Certification and is Certified Clean Air GOLD.
The Saarinen Dining Table Ø120cm has a diameter of 120cm and a height of 72cm. It is available in different colour configurations such as all white and black and white. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
