Patera Oval LED Suspension Lamp
The Patera Oval LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Øivind Slaatto for the brand Louis Poulsen. Danish designer Slaatto aims to create pieces that provide practical solutions. Additionally, the pieces have detailing that gives them a look that is all their own. A good example of this is the Patera Oval LED Suspension Lamp. The lamp's flat, circular shape makes it an ellipsoid that is ideal for hanging over tables. Its shade has diamond-shaped cells that are designed to reflect glare-free light all around. They do this when they are viewed from angles over 40 degrees. The shade has an opening underneath that casts direct light. An LED light sourced is concealed in the shade while the canopy hides a driver. Made of white matte PVC, the shade is assembled by hand following Fibonacci's spiral mathematics structure. The suspension element is made of brass finished in matte chrome plating and die-cast acrylic. The lamp is assembled entirely by hand.
The Patera Oval LED Suspension Lamp has a diameter of 500cm and a height of 360cm. Its cable is 400cm long. Its dimensions make it ideal for hanging over tables in homes and restaurants or for use where headroom is required.
