Rime is part of TAF Studio's mission to take ordinary products and make them extraordinary. Formed by architects Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom, TAF explores imaginative ideas and injects an element of humour into every piece it creates. Designed in conjunction with legendary Danish label Muuto, the Rime LED Suspension Lamp Ø 12cm has plenty of character and high-end design features.
Rime is a collection of lamps, all of which include blown glass diffusers. In this case, the acorn-shaped diffuser measures 12cm across and 15cm tall - making the Rime LED Suspension Lamp Ø 12cm a relatively small member of the Rime family. The texture of the mouthblown glass ensures a gentle glow, which will diffuse in all directions. In addition, a slim PVC cord provides reliable connection to mains electricity, while allowing the diffuser's graceful form to shine in its own light. Charismatic and finely engineered, intended to mimic the form of a natural acorn, this glass pendant lamp will add a touch of the forest to interiors and be a conversation piece in almost any setting.
