EVO-C Chair
The EVO-C Chair has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Vitra. English industrial designer Morrison is known for his eccentric, futuristic pieces that recreate basic, everyday items and transform them into unique works of art.The EVO-C Chair he designed for Vitra illustrates this well. It is a recreation of the basic chair which he re-imagined as one with a single, unified piece from the backrest, seat and frame. The chair is manufactured using gas injection moulding technology that makes it possible to create an item out of hollow components resembling tubes that can hold weight such as a chair. This one is made of polypropylene that is moulded into a slim, fluid outline. It is ergonomic and comfortable for long hours of sitting, making it ideal for use in institutional spaces such as classrooms and libraries. It is also ideal for home use such as around a kitchen or dining table.
The EVO-C Chair has a width of 46.5cm, a height of 81.5cm and a depth of 51cm. It has a seat height of 44cm. This chair will last for decades without deterioration and afterwards it can be completely recycled. It is available in a selection of different colours.
