Petite Potence Wall Lamp
The Petite Potence Wall Lamp has been created by Jean Prouvé for the brand Vitra. It has a minimalistic, pure look. It is a timeless piece that has proved popular since 1947 when the original lamp was designed.
When he first designed it, Prouvé intended the Petite Potence Wall Lamp for his own use. It was a simple structure that has a bulb attached to a long bar made of steel. The two are held together with a steel wire. Over time, it was revised to add an arm that enables swivelling. It has also been brought into the contemporary world with a LED bulb that is energy-saving. It is also dimmable making the lamp ideal for both task and ambient lighting. The lamp's original design was also upgraded with powder coating over the steel that the frame is made of. Additionally, the lamp's cable is covered in a premium-quality textile.
The Petite Potence Wall Lamp has a length of 104cm, a width of 3.5cm and a height of 30cm. It comes in a variety of bright and neutral colours that can be chosen to cheer up or tone down a space. It is dimmable via a dimmer switch found on the cable. It is compatible with an E27 socket.
