The Le Corbusier LC7 Swivel Armchair has been created by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. This 1927 chair went on to become a timeless classic.
The Le Corbusier LC7 Swivel Armchair has a unique tube-shaped backrest and a round seat. The two are joined by stainless steel tubes that have also been used for the frame which is finished with chrome plating. Both the backrest and cushion are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester batting. These are concealed beneath leather upholstery. Scozia leather has been used for this. It is a type of leather that is favoured for upholstering furniture because of its ability to resist stains, scratches, tears and other forms of damage. The shell is supported by a swivel frame that has four legs made of curved steel tubes. Each one has gliders underneath.
The Le Corbusier LC7 Swivel Armchair has a width of 60cm, a height of 73cm and a depth of 58cm. It has a seat height of 50cm. This chair is ideal for use in working spaces like offices and meeting rooms. At home, it can be used in an office to support anyone that works from home.
