Table Solvay Prouvé Table
The Table Solvay Prouvé Table has been created by Jean Prouvé for the brand Vitra. The designer used a combination of wood and metal to create a very unique piece. It has a minimalist aesthetic that is simple and timeless.
The Table Solvay Prouvé Table has held its own since 1941 when it was designed. It has a rectangular tabletop that is supported by a one-of-a-kind base. It departs from the norm of legs in each corner with a pair of wedge-shaped ones at every end. They are joined together in the middle with stainless steel fasteners. A tubular rod that is also made of steel runs from one end to the other which reinforces that table's strength. They taper towards the bottom to points that can ably hold the weight of the table and anything that is placed on it. They have gliders underneath that protect the floor and make it easy to move the table.
The Table Solvay Prouvé Table has a length of 200cm, a width of 90cm and a height of 74cm. It comes in natural walnut or smoked oak finished with a dark stain. Every gathering around this classic table will be a stylish affair.
