Flowerpot VP2 Suspension Lamp
The Flowerpot VP2 Suspension Lamp has been created by Verner Panton for the brand &Tradition. It was originally conceived in 1968 and has continued to hold its own with its design of simple elegance that makes it a classic. Its name and design were inspired by the flower pot which was a big decor piece in the 60s.
The Flowerpot VP2 Suspension Lamp has a two-tiered shade which was a ground-breaking change from the typical round shade. They are made of spun metal that is finished with varnish. The larger hemispherical shade faces downwards. The smaller one that has a similar shape faces upwards and fits into the larger one. The lamp casts light both upwards and downwards because of the shades that face opposite directions.
The Flowerpot VP2 Suspension Lamp has a height of 36cm and a diameter of 50cm. Its textile cable has a length of 300cm. It is available in neutral, metallic and bright colours. It can be dimmed if a dimmable light source is used along with an external phase dimmer. It is compatible with an E27 socket. Its refined, minimalist aesthetic makes it ideal for use in homes as well as commercial spaces like offices, meeting rooms, retail shops and restaurants.
