The Spiral Single is an iconic ceiling light originally designed by Verner Panton and now available as a reissue from Verpan.
In the 1960s, Verner Panton was a leading name in the world of interior design, renowned for his use of futuristic forms and pioneering use of plastic moulding. Today, Danish manufacturer Verpan continues his legacy, reissuing many of his most iconic designs while continuing to produce supplementary pieces that make ideal complements to his collections. The Spiral Single is a ceiling light fixture to savour, bringing together all of the design elements that have made Panton such an inspiring figure.
The Spiral Single has a framework of metallic rings, each serving as a mounting post for multiple spirals crafted from celidor: an incredibly smooth and hard-wearing material. When illuminated, the spirals take on new life, casting unique accents throughout rooms that continuously change as the spirals gently rotate.
