The Myto Cantilever Chair by Plank is a stacking chair that explores the limitations of statics! Konstantin Grcic translated an iconic chair design into modern times. Myto is a curvy and at the same time stable monobloc cantilever chair!
The material used for the Myto Cantilever Chair by Plank is Ultradur® by BASF - a flowable plastic that enables the structure of a net-like seat and backrest in one cast. The stacking chair is suited for indoor as well as outdoor use!
The Myto Cantilever Chair by Plank convinces with its functionality! The cantilever chair can be stacked with up to 8 chairs, is UV-resistant, weather-proof for extreme heat as well as cold and is even recyclable.
For its innovative design the Myto Cantilever Chair by Plank received the iF Product Design Award 2009, and the Compasso D'Oro 2011, among others. The stacking chair was included in the permanent design collection of the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany, the Design Museum London and the MoMA in New York.
