Barboy Container
The Barboy Container has been created by Verner Panton for Verpan. Panton created the piece for his own label in 1963, taking inspiration from his life at Basel at the time. The Barboy Container has a height of 72.5cm and a diameter of 38cm. It is made from a combination of industrial-styled MDF and chrome castors. The overall piece has a cylindrical finish, with three different storage shelves that can be adjusted to reveal the contents, and fully opened to maximise the full storage space.
The mobile bar is created on wheels so you can roll it to any part of the room at a moment's notice. Barboy Containers may have been designed initially as mobile bars but they have since become popular for all types of storage space. Try one as a bedroom nightstand, as an alternative side table in a compact space or for flexible office storage in your home working area.
The Verpan Barboy is available in a range of stylish colours to suit every contemporary interior, including blue, white, grey and petrol. It combines matt styling on the container's body with high-shine handles and wheels for an interesting contrast and elegant aesthetic.
