Bicoca LED Table Lamp with Battery
The Bicoca LED Table Lamp was designed by Christophe Mathieu for the brand Marset.
Spanish in origin but with a presence across Europe and in the States, Marset is a company that believes the nuances of light have the ability to improve the quality of life. As well as functional and aesthetically attractive, the label's lighting is also eco-friendly. Combining Belgian, French, German and Spanish roots, Christophe Mathieu has a background in both interior and industrial design. His creative lamps reflect his skills in Japanese origami.
The diminutive Bicoca LED Table Lamp was the winner of the #MetropolisLikes Award at NYCxDESIGN 2017. Fun, practical, lightweight and portable, this table lamp brings intimate illumination to all areas of the home while sitting neatly on coffee, bedside or office tables. It is constructed from tough polycarbonate and features a pleasing balance of geometric shapes. The shade tilts to direct light exactly where it is needed while the bold choice of colours adds to the playfulness of this versatile design. The Bicoca LED Table Lamp measures 22.5cm in height, with a diffuser diameter of 14cm and a base diameter of 6.4cm.
