Atto 5000 LED Suspension Lamp
This striking Atto 5000 LED Suspension Lamp was designed by Seppo Koho for the Finnish lighting label Secto Design.
Secto Design was formed by architect Seppo Koho in 1995 to fulfill a need for quality furniture handmade from wood. Noticing the lack of wooden lamps on the market, the firm moved quickly and the result was the classic Secto pendant lamp. Now focusing entirely on lighting, the firm produces a wide range of suspension, wall, floor and table lamps, all fashioned in Finland from local birch wood. Each lamp exhibits the clean and simple Scandinavian beauty that has led to a slew of international awards and exhibition in the world's leading museums.
Winner of the 2010 Product Design Award, the Atto 5000 LED Suspension Lamp comprises a lampshade of untreated birch wood glued onto a plywood frame. Measuring 34cm in diameter with a height of 21cm, the lamp's generous cable length of 180cm allows for flexible positioning. The filigree construction of the Atto 5000 LED Suspension Lamp results in a warm, glare-free light making it ideal for use in bedrooms, living rooms and other spaces where a relaxing ambiance is desirable including offices, restaurants and shops.
