Material The Originals Table Lamp Marble
The Material The Originals Table Lamp Marble has been created by Martin Kechayas and Christian Nørgaard for the brand New Works. Materials began life as a pendant lamp but has now expanded to include a range of stunning table lamps. All use familiar materials in creative ways, showing them in a totally new light. In this case, marble has been used to create a classic tapered shade, mixing powerful illumination and gorgeous exterior aesthetics.
The shade of the Material The Originals Table Lamp Marble has been made from black marble, and the natural patterning and veining that makes this stone so distinctive has been left intact, giving it an appealing texture. Light is cast downwards via a cylindrical shade which can be pivoted as desired. This shade connects to a circular base via a slimline steel frame.
The Material The Originals Table Lamp Marble measures 19cm wide, 25cm deep and 45cm high, making it ideally suited to most work or study desks. It features a three stage dimmer on the base, and weighs just 3kg so should be easy to move around. The appropriate bulb with an E14 socket can be ordered under accessories.
