IXA LED Desk Lamp
The IXA LED Desk Lamp has been created by Foster + Partners Industrial Design for the brand Artemide. The designer was inspired by Alexander Calder's one-of-a-kind sculptures. The American sculptor was known for creating pieces that combined timeless elegance and intricate balancing acts. They are represented in the lamp's elegant look and equilibrium.
The IXA LED Desk Lamp has a hemispherical head made of lacquered aluminium. It houses an LED light source inside that casts light through a diffuser. It is attached to a slim arm that is also made of aluminium and is finished to match. It extends downwards to form a stem, bending at a 90-degree angle. It is anchored by a disc-shaped base. The head can be pivoted in different directions to cast light where it is needed making it ideal for task lighting and reading.
The IXA LED Desk Lamp has a length of 40.3cm and a height of 42.4cm. Its base has a diameter of 20cm and its cable is 180cm long. It is dimmable. The lamp is available in a selection of bright and neutral colours. When the LED light source needs to be changed, it should be done by a specialist.
