AJ Mini Table Lamp Stainless Steel
The AJ Mini Table Lamp Stainless Steel was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Founded in 1874, Louis Poulsen is one of the most important labels in world design, having been the launchpad for the stellar careers of Poul Henningsen and Arne Jacobsen - the creator of the AJ Mini Table Lamp Stainless Steel. Jacobsen followed a philosophy of radical simplicity, taking overly complex furniture designs and stripping them down to the basics. This applied to tables, chairs, and numerous home furnishings - and it was a very successful approach in Jacobsen's lighting designs, too.
Designed initially for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the AJ Mini Table Lamp Stainless Steel has a dynamic stainless steel construction with a fluted shade and a slender column. The lamp stands 43.3cm tall and measures 12 x 18.3 cm at its widest point, so it will be small enough to function as a bedside or a desk lamp. Illumination is provided by a powerful E14 bulb, which can be changed when needed. A black 240cm cable is included, while a small black button on the base rounds off the classic design.
