Flip Foldable Garden Armchair
The Flip Foldable Garden Armchair has been created by Christina Strand and Niels Hvass for the brand Cane-Line. Flip represents a new interpretation of the traditional folding garden chair. Made from rich teak wood, its collapsible design makes it a really handy option when saving space is essential.
The Flip Foldable Garden Armchair has a standard four-legged armchair design with a backrest and armrests. The backrest has a maximum height of 85cm, the seat measures 56cm wide and 58cm deep, while the seat height is a comfortable 47cm. So far, so conventional. However, a closer look shows that the chair has been artfully constructed using different slat widths, while every section is made from gorgeous teak wood. The wood has been left natural, showcasing the grain, and all of it comes from sustainably harvested forests.
Another key feature of the Flip Foldable Garden Armchair is its folding mechanism. The chair can be collapsed in a second, and when folded it hardly takes up any space. Cushions can be added to make the chair more comfortable, although the bare wood version is enjoyable to use without additions. The teak wood should handle moisture and heat well, although wood care products can be are recommended to extend the chair's lifetime.
