Parrot LED Floor Lamp with Battery
This Parrot LED Floor Lamp was designed by Timon and Melchior Grau for the GRAU label. An intelligent, mobile lamp, the Parrot is ideal for studies, living rooms and offices - wherever precise illumination and aesthetics are important.
The Grau brothers build on their family's accomplishments. The Tobias Grau label has been a leading player in Europe's lighting design scene for over 30 years, mixing minimalist looks with technological innovation. The Parrot LED Floor Lamp is a textbook case of how the label moves with the times, offering a new spin on traditional floor lamps.
Visually, the Parrot has a stripped-back, streamlined look. It stands 140cm tall although the height is adjustable , has a 28cm wide round base, and a 15cm wide diffuser. With a weight of 3kg, it can easily be moved as required, and comes in different colourways.
However, the cable-less concept is less familiar. Instead of mains cables, Parrot lamps use chargeable LEDs. This provides over 100 hours of constant illumination, with no sacrifice in terms of brightness. This ensures that these lamps can be ultra-mobile - ideal for people who love to customise their lighting arrangements.
