The AAS 32 2.0 Bar Stool Low Lacquered Oak is a Sustainable Choice product. Its shell is made of 100% polypropylene, an engineered plastic made of recycled consumer waste. It has been sculpted into a seat with a backrest that is higher than standard which makes it more comfortable. A well-sized seat with a rounded edge completes the elegant arch on the backrest. The shell is supported by a base made of lacquered oak. Rather than the customary four legs at each corner, the wood has been curved into U-shaped frames that are attached to the underside of the seat. It is reinforced with straight bars. The frames which form slightly outspread back and front legs have gliders underneath. They form an aesthetic of contrast against a square-shaped footrest made of powder-coated steel.
