The W3 3D Stool Base-Sole Black has been created by Rainer Bachschmid for the brand Wagner. The designer got it absolutely right with this debut 3-D stool for the brand. It earned Bachschmid the German Design Award in 2018.

The W3 3D Stool Base-Sole Black has a round seat. It is well-padded and upholstered with a soft, comfortable fabric. The base that has a pending patent is made of thermoplastic synthetic materials. It is partitioned into separate parts that allow it to adjust precisely to provide maximum, support and comfort. Like a pair of tech-enabled trainers, the base senses and adjusts to the surface and incline it is on. This enables an unmatched movement response that is dynamic and that makes this stool a suitable replacement for work chairs. The bottom of the base is also made to provide full support with a honeycomb design that has zones to adapt to the movements of the person seated on it. It uses Unlock Gravity technology to enable dynamic support on the base. The height of the seat can also be adjusted with a gas lift.

The W3 3D Stool Base-Sole Black has a diameter of 38cm and a height of 57 to 79cm. The base has a diameter of 32cm. It comes in neutral and bright colours.
