CH37 Soft Tones Armchair
The CH37 Soft Tones Armchair has been created by Hans J. Wegner for the brand Carl Hansen. It is a Sustainable Choice product. Not only is it made of FSC®-certified wood but it is finished with water-based lacquer which has a low pollutant load.
The CH37 Soft Tones Armchair is made of beech wood. The design of the 1962 chair was inspired by the style of American Shaker furniture. It prioritises simplicity, practicality and durability. The chair has a rectangular backrest that has a straight upper edge and a lower edge that is arched to provide maximum back support. Just above it are high armrests that enhance the chair's comfort. The wide seat that is well sized steals the show with the paper cord it is made of. It has been woven to form a firm, comfortable distinctive woven pattern. Sturdy, rounded tapering legs form the frame that supports the shell. It is reinforced with narrow bars that run across the legs and straight bars that go from front to back.
The CH37 Soft Tones Armchair has a width of 58cm, a height of 81cm and a depth of 50cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It comes in neutral colours with a natural woven seat.
