Array Highboard 80cm
The Array Highboard 80cm has been created by Says Who for the brand Woud. Says Who is a studio founded by Danish designers Kasper Meldgaard and Nikolaj Duve that explores new frontiers in contemporary product design. In this case, they have taken inspiration from wooden cladding techniques used in modern architecture. The result is an innovative hybrid of sideboard and cabinet.
The Array Highboard 80cm strikes the eye straight away with its series of vertical wooden slats on one side of the main cabinet section. This creates a play of shadows and the illusion of transparency, raising curiosity about the contents of the compartment, and providing a highly original accent for the piece. The cabinet itself is made from solid oak with oak veneer elements and features two hinged doors which open to reveal a series of eight interior sections.
The Array Highboard 80cm is 80cm wide and 44cm deep, and it has a total height of 160cm. The cabinet has been raised well above ground level by a slimline iron base, lightening the composition and placing storage space at a comfortable level for easy access. The total weight is 51.6kg, and the highboard will provide plenty of room for essentials in almost any interior setting.
