The Basket Armchair is a product by the designer Matthias Demacker, created for the design furniture label Softline.

Softline was inspired to produce this beautiful Basket Armchair by colourful roofed wicker beach chairs, in which one can lean back comfortably. Like a cocoon the Basket Armchair offers a feeling of cosiness and comfortable sitting.

Thanks to the overly high backrest sound is blocked out and thus this armchair enables discreet talks that stay unheard from the outside. The Softline Basket Armchair is the ideal place for, e.g., undisturbed phone calls. Two height adjustments make for the best sitting comfort.
