The Doze Lounge Chair was created by Anderssen & Voll for the Muuto label. With its mid-century looks, and fine use of materials, it will prove a stylish and comfortable accessory for living rooms, studies, and bedrooms alike.
Muuto is a leading Danish design agency, which has been active since 2006 and has carved a niche for itself with impressive furnishings and high-profile design link-ups. One collaboration has been with Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, a pair of Norwegian designers who seek to expand tradition while respecting the achievements of 20th century masters.
The Doze Lounge Chair is a great illustration of their approach. Constructed from steel with a moulded foam filling, the chair mixes stability and comfort and features a form that is ideally adapted to human needs. The textiles used have been sourced from the prestigious labels Kvadrat and Rohleder, ensuring premium quality. The overall look riffs on classic Scandinavian formats while adding a few contemporary flourishes. This lounge chair measures 95.5 x 100 x 106 cm, with a seat height of 40cm and armrests 61.5cm above the floor. Available in various colours, it can also be combined with Doze footstools and other furnishings to create attractive, practical collections.
