Euvira Rocking Chair Leather
The Euvira Rocking Chair Leather was created by Jader Almeida for the Italian label ClassiCon.
The chair is typical of the way ClassiCon combines traditional furniture outlines with the original work of talented designers to create the classics of the future. Brazilian-born Jader Almeida started his career in the local furniture industry before going on to study architecture and urban planning. He likes to work with typical Brazilian woods and leather at his studio in Santa Catarina. Among his prizes are the Red Dot and the IF Product Design Awards.
With the Euvira Rocking Chair Leather, Almeida has fused two traditions, the comfortable rocker and the leather club armchair, to give a timeless aesthetic that is supremely comfortable. The armrest's linear lines reflect the flow of the rockers and their motion, giving a balanced appearance to a stylish piece that adds flair to any living room or bedroom. The chair's frame is made from solid oak filled with a corded leather back and seat that provide a comfortable base for the leather covered, polyurethane cushions. The rockers are finished with non-slip felt inserts. The Euvira Rocking Chair Leather has the generous dimensions of 72 x 69 x 75 cm.
