FLY SC1 Armchair
The FLY SC1 Armchair was designed by Space Copenhagen for the Danish luxury furniture manufacturer &Tradition.
Established by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rutzou, Space Copenhagen is a design studio with an understated yet distinctive aesthetic, where the emphasis is on creating a feeling of ease and relaxation with restful tones and soft furnishings. Since they were established a decade ago, they have attracted a client list which includes Michelin-starred restaurants and some of Denmark's most prestigious luxury brands.
Measuring 70cm in height, 87cm in width and with a seat height of 40cm, the FLY SC1 Armchair from &Tradition takes the cosiness of Traditional Nordic design and gives it a modern twist. It consists of a generously sized frame, hand built from solid oak and equipped with a large, foam-filled cushion. In addition, the chair comes with three soft feather pillows, and because these are left loose, the sitter is encouraged to arrange them in whichever way best suits them - for reading, for lounging in front of the television or for curling up with a book or tablet. Roomy and flexible, the FLY SC1 Armchair is a stylish alternative to the comforts of a Traditional armchair.
