Anniversary Edition 2022 Egg Chair™ Footrest Leather
The Anniversary Edition 2022 Egg Chair™ Footrest Leather has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Fritz Hansen. The footrest which is one of the designer's greatest triumphs was one of the iconic pieces selected to make the brand's celebratory 150th Anniversary Edition. It has a top that is egg-shaped with a slight dip in the middle creating a cradle to rest weary feet on or to provide extra seating. The footrest has a shell made of hard polyurethane and over this is upholstery that has been finished with the brand's own Sørensen Grace leather. It is a tactile leather that has rich colouring.
The Anniversary Edition 2022 Egg Chair™ Footrest Leather shell rests on a star-shaped base that is made of powder-coated aluminium. The four legs that form the star have ferrets underneath them which hold the base steady. The top and base are connected by a stout, sturdy stem that is made of welded steel. The Anniversary Edition 2022 Egg Chair™ Footrest Leather has a width of 56cm, a height of 37cm and a depth of 40cm. Its seat height is 37cm. It comes in a rich chestnut colour.
