The Java Stool is something very special: Its entirely natural look emits bohemian charms. Ever stool is made by hand out of one piece of the robust root of the teak tree. This gives it the typical primitive and elemental shape that may also sometimes show little irregularities, knots, or residual bark - pure nature!
Please note that every Java Stool by Jan Kurtz is unique and we cannot tell you ahead of time what your version will look like. Some stools are darker or knottier as others - simply as nature made them.
Because Java by Jan Kurtz is made of teak wood, the stool is not only wonderfully suited for indoor use, e.g., as side table, but can also be kept outdoors all year round, which makes it perfect for your balcony & terrace.
