Olaf Stool

The Olaf Stool has a frame made of tubular powder-coated steel rods. It has a sheet of oak or walnut veneer over the metal. It has side edges which are raised and curved inwards. It is topped with a cushion that is made firm and comfortable with foam padding. It is positioned such that it is contained within the curves of the wooden sheet. The edges leave the wood grain on show which contrasts with the fabric the cushion is upholstered with. Bouclé is used for this. It has a looped, curly texture that makes it look and feel soft and plush which is inviting. The seat is supported by rounded, steel legs with gliders underneath. They are formed with frames in the shape of an inverted U that are attached on either side.
