Shoemaker No. 49™ Stool
The Shoemaker No. 49™ Stool has been created by Werner for the brand Form & Refine. This classic piece has been manufactured in Denmark since 1936.
Now in its third generation, the design of the Shoemaker No. 49™ Stool by the Werner family of woodturners is continuously refined. The stool is crafted from a solid European oak or beech wood, with various colour options available, including oiled, smoked, or stained finishes. Each Shoemaker No. 49™ Stool is individually handmade as a unique piece in a local woodturning workshop on the Danish island of Funen. The challenge in its production lies in the anatomically shaped seat, crafted from a single piece of wood, and designed for maximum seating comfort. Complementing the rounded shape of the seat are three conically tapered and flared legs, stabilised by two round T-shaped supports.
This classic stool works well as a decorative piece in the hallway, a dressing stool in the bedroom, or an additional seating option in the kitchen or living room. It has a height of 49cm, a width of 51 cm, and a depth of 38 cm, with a seat height of 46cm. The Shoemaker No. 49™ Stool weighs just 3.8 kg, which makes it perfect for various settings.
