The Table One Bistrot Cocktail Table was created by Konstantin Grcic for leading Italian design company Magis.
Magis is a brand that believes in design without boundaries and aims to nurture an experimental mindset. This striking table was created in 2006 by the award-winning designer, Konstantin Grcic. He has his own Munich-based company and some of his work is permanently on display in MoMA New York and Georges Pompidou in Paris. Grcic believes in simplicity and purity, and this Table One Bistrot Cocktail Table is a fine example of his pared-down, minimalist approach.
The table has a durable anodised aluminium frame that makes it ideal for outdoor use. It can easily withstand windy weather thanks to the solid and substantial concrete base. The cone-shaped base is made from painted, transparent cement that holds an aluminium central pole supporting a circular top that is made from HPL. The table top is 12 mm thick and has a diameter of 60 cm. It comes with the option of a matte or gloss finish, with or without coloured edging. TheTable One Bistrot Cocktail Table is part of a collection that includes a stool, a larger table and several different chairs.
