The glare of this light fixture is offset by the diffused way that it is allowed to pass through the timber struts, lighting an internal fire that creates a kind of campfire feel. The design also has something of the Chinese lantern about it, or a spiritual foreignness that is hard to define. Ideal for a variety of home and work spaces, these lamps have also found their place amongst the décor of restaurants around the world. Standing 68cm high and 54cm in diameter, the Octo 4240 Suspension Lamp has a cable length of 150cm, allowing it to suspend gracefully and to a useful depth from even high-ceiling rooms.
