Glo Ball C1 Ceiling Lamp
The Glo Ball C1 Ceiling Lamp has been created by Jasper Morrison for the brand Flos. English industrial designer Morrison is guided by the principle that he is, first of all, a conceptual designer. This principle inclines him towards creative gestures that rework basic and classic forms into new, contemporary ones with tweaks that make them timeless and give them a new form and optimal functionality. This is how the master designer reworked a basic lamp into the sophisticated Glo Ball C1 Ceiling Lamp. It has an orb-shaped diffuser made of hand-blown opal glass that is detailed with acid etching. It disperses soft diffused white light all around perfectly and looks like a glowing ball on the ceiling when it is lit. Around it is a threaded ring nut made of die-cast aluminum and finished with alodine plating. It is mounted on the ceiling with a support fixture made of injection-moulded polyamide that is reinforced with 30 percent fibreglass.
The Glo Ball C1 Ceiling Lamp has a height of 27cm and a diameter of 33cm. Its canopy has a diameter of 11cm. The appropriate bulb with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories. It can be dimmed via an external dimmer.
