EB 27 Buquet Desk Lamp
The EB 27 Buquet Desk Lamp has been created by Eduard-Wilfrid Buquet for the brand Tecnolumen. A version of the EB 27 lamp can be seen at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In his own words, Buquet describes the lamp as a 'rotatable light fixture with articulated joints'. The lamp can be fully adjusted so that it casts light with precision.
All of the EB 27 Buquet Desk Lamp parts are handmade. It has a bell-shaped shade made of metal finished with nickel plating that gives it an elegant glossy look. The head is attached to a rounded arm that is finished to match. Another arm is attached to this one. Both of them have weights attached to the ends. They make it possible to pivot the head in any direction. The arm's flexible joints support adjustability. Towards the bottom, the lower arm is attached to a thicker stem that is supported by a round base where you can find the on/off power switch.
The EB 27 Buquet Desk Lamp has a width of 100cm, a height of 120cm and weighs 7.3kg. Its base has a diameter of 16cm and its cable has a length of 250cm. It cannot be dimmed and is available in metallic colours. The lamp has a GY6.35 socket. The light source is included in the delivery. Each lamp is numbered consecutively and bears the TECNOLUM logo.
