Projecteur 365 Floor Lamp
The clever and bold Projecteur 365 Floor Lamp was designed in 1954 by Le Corbusier for Milan design company Nemo.
Nemo is an Italian lighting and furniture manufacturer that bases its designs on vintage Italian lamps. The brand creates practical, functional lighting products which become conversation pieces. Le Corbusier was a Swiss-French designer and architect who is most famous for helping to pioneer modern architecture.
The Projectuer 365 Floor Lamp is a large lamp that can be placed on the floor or a low table and has been designed to resembled projector lamps that are used on film sets. The lamp was designed based on the original drawings found in Le Corbusier's archives in 2012. The light has a round aluminium shade around sandblasted diffusor glass. The lamp features large, visible wing nuts and screws as an eye-catching design feature. Originally created for the Chandigarh High Court in India, Le Corbusier's design won the "Best Reissues" category of the 2013 Wallpaper Design Awards. The Projecteur 365 Floor Lamp is strong and lightweight and is ideal for use in a large dining area, swimming pool, lounge or event location.
