Butterfly Suspension Lamp Ø21cm
The Butterfly Suspension Lamp Ø21cm has been created by Toni Rie for the brand Frandsen. The lamp gets its name from its design which has layered shades that form the outline of a butterfly. Its aesthetic can also be likened to that of the insect with its gentle and elegant arches.
The Butterfly Suspension Lamp Ø21cm has shades made of aluminium and finished with matte or glossy paint. The shade at the top is smaller and faces upwards. The one attached to it is larger and it faces outwards which is how the butterfly wings outline is achieved. The light source is located in the opal glass diffuser on the underside of the lower shade. The lamp is suspended from the ceiling with a textile cable. The lamp casts direct light downwards. Some light is also emitted through small perforations on the shade at the top.
The Butterfly Suspension Lamp Ø21cm has a height of 18cm and a diameter of 21cm. Its canopy has a diameter of 11.5cm and its cable has a length of 300cm. It is not dimmable and is available in a variety of colours. It is also available in glossy metallic finishes. It works with an E14 socket and the bulb it uses has to be purchased separately.
