AJ Oxford Table Lamp H 28cm
The AJ Oxford Table Lamp H 28cm has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. It was originally designed in 1963. Its sculptural, architectural design is classic in style and will continue to stand the test of time.
The AJ Oxford Table Lamp H 28cm comes in two versions. One has a dark-coloured varnished steel shade over the diffuser while the other does without the shade. The diffuser is made of three layers of white hand-blown opal glass. They are bowl-shaped and are joined so that they conceal the light source. It casts a soft, white light. Lamps without a shade cast light all around while this shade helps angle the light directly downwards. The diffuser is topped with a round mount. It has an inverted L-shaped tubular steel stem. At the bottom, the tube coils to form a round base. The lamp's on/off switch is located on the side of the mount. It is made of untreated brass that will patinate over time.
The AJ Oxford Table Lamp H 28cm has a height of 28.4cm and a diameter of 22cm. Its textile cable is 220cm long and its base has a diameter of 18.5cm. It cannot be dimmed. It works with an E14 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately.
