Eddy LED Table Lamp
The Eddy LED Table Lamp has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Danish industrial designer Legald bases his designs on the desire to respect Scandinavian design traditions and also being innovative and experimental. His design ethos is well illustrated in the Eddy LED Table Lamp. This unexampled lamp is a play on proportions. It has a shade that appears to float above a heavy base made of marble shaped into a bottle form. The marble is sourced from Italy. The lamp has a built-in LED light source that cannot be replaced. The shade has a circular plate made of pressed steel with the light source in the middle. The shade can be rotated to cast light exactly where it is needed. The shade and base are joined with a brass ball joint. When the shade is turned downwards, it casts light not only on its surroundings but on itself, which plays up the mineral patterning of the marble. The lamp casts a soft light that can be adjusted using a round brass dimmer located at the top.
The Eddy LED Table Lamp has a height of 33.6cm and a diameter of 32cm. Its beauty and functionality are exceptional.
