Aura LED Wall Lamp
The Aura LED Wall Lamp has been created by Joan Gaspar for the brand Marset. When designing Aura, Spanish designer Gaspar drew inspiration from the humble carafe. Turning the carafe template on its side, this restrained wall lamp uses glass beautifully, creating an 'aura' of light around the bowl. It will suit walls all over the home, from entrance corridors to basements.
The Aura LED Wall Lamp features a bowl-shaped diffuser made from transparent blown glass, which has a diameter of 17.9cm and extends 9.6cm from the wall. The diffuser contains a black polycarbonate disc which diverts light to the edges of the lamp, illuminating surfaces behind the lamp and muting the level of brightness produced. The result is a source of light which supplements main lamps and won't be a jarring element in interior arrangements.
The Aura LED Wall Lamp connects to an aluminium canopy which measures 6cm in diameter and can hardly be seen behind the polycarbonate disc. Connected to mains electricity switches, the lamp can be externally dimmed. It contains a fixed LED bulb which cannot be changed.
