Haefeli Model 1020 Garden Chair
The Haefeli Model 1020 Garden Chair has been created by Max Ernst Haefeli for the brand Embru. The late German architect and industrial designer Haefeli was one of the leaders of the New Objectivity or New Building movement in Zurich. Whether he was working on a building or a product, he went for simplicity and timelessness which is why pieces like the Haefeli Model 1020 Garden Chair remain popular. It has a frame made of steel pipes and a seat made of solid ash slats. The slats are equal and even on the wide seat and on the backrest they are placed to form a sort of subtle curve. At the back, the legs are straight until the seat level where they are angled outwards. Apart from aesthetic, this detail makes it possible to stack the garden chair for convenient storage.
The Haefeli Model 1020 Garden Chair has a length of 45cm, a width of 51cm and a height of 77cm. It has a seat height of 46cm.
