Luxembourg Garden Chair
The Luxembourg Garden Chair has been created by Frédéric Sofia for the brand Fermob. Belonging to a sophisticated outdoor ensemble, it takes cues from the iconic metal chairs adorning the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris. In 2004 the Luxembourg collection received the VIA Design Award.
The Luxembourg Garden Chair is made in France. It is constructed from moisture-resistant extruded aluminium, featuring ultra-protective elastomer foot pads. It has a UV-resistant powder coating to prevent fading. The seat is contoured and gently curves over the edge of the chair. The slightly inclined backrest provides comfortable support for the back. The flat elements consist of closely spaced aluminium slats, ensuring a comfortable seating experience. It is suitable for various outdoor settings.
The Luxembourg Garden Chair, combining the lightness and resistance of aluminium with the comfort of curved seats, is 52cm in width, 88cm in height, and 57cm in depth. The seat height is 49cm. It weighs 3.8kg and can be stacked efficiently up to ten chairs. Various colours are available, and the matching seat cushion is sold separately.
