Dodo Pavone Carpet
The Dodo Pavone Carpet has been created by Moooi Carpets for the brand Moooi Carpets. The design for this carpet is inspired by plumage. These are the layers of feathers on birds. The different patterns and colours of different species of birds are aptly portrayed in an array of textures, colours and shapes.
The Dodo Pavone Carpet has an image that is so vivid because it is printed on polyamide. This synthetic fabric is a type of nylon which makes carpets made using it very hardwearing. It also intensifies the clarity of an image because of how well it takes ink. Printing is done using a Chromojet printer which has revolutionised industrial printing. Apart from high-resolution printing, this printer also creates realistic illusions of depth and texture as it does on this carpet. Computer-controlled inkjets are used to shoot ink at very specific points in the fabric without touching it. The end result is an impressive visual of fluffy, fuzzy feathers.
The Dodo Pavone Carpet comes in a smaller size that has a diameter of 250cm and a larger one that has a diameter of 350cm. It comes in multicolour with prominent shades of white, silver, pink and beige.
