AJ Floor Lamp
The AJ Floor Lamp has been created by Arne Jacobsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. One of the greatest names in 20th century Danish design, Arne Jacobsen created the AJ lamp as part of a commission for the SAS Royal Hotel Copenhagen in 1960. Now updated by Louis Poulsen, the floor lamp in the AJ collection is as stylish and practical as ever, offering energy efficient, bold, and pure lighting for any interior setting.
The AJ Floor Lamp has an instantly recognisable diffuser with a diagonal edge that resembles the head of a watering can. This diffuser is angled downwards and supported by a slender column, which is anchored by a base featuring a cut-out circle. The frame of the lamp is made from steel, while the base is made from die cast zinc, and the diffuser has been formed from spun steel.
The AJ Floor Lamp is available in a wide variety of appealing tones to complement your decor. All have a height of 130cm and a length of 27.5cm, while they feature a 260cm long cable and weigh 3.5kg. The lamp can pivot in all directions and requires a single E27 bulb.
