Applique de Marseille Wall Lamp
In 1938, Le Corbusier designed the Applique de Marseille wall lamp which is marketed today by Italian company Nemo as part of its Masters collection.
Nemo was founded in Milan in 1993, and is associated with cutting-edge lighting design.
Le Corbusier was a Swiss architect who defined the modernist, twentieth-century machine aesthetic. Using the shapes of contemporary technology, he created beautiful and useful household objects. The Applique de Marseille wall lamp, which is made of metal, embodies this aesthetic. It is 39cm in height and has a depth of 27cm, with a diffuser diameter of 17cm. The lamp requires 2 x E27/60W Standard-Bulbs and is compatible with energy classes A-F. It is both 220-240V and 110V capable.
