Since setting up his own studio in 2000, Jaime HAYon has established himself as one of Spain's most influential and prolific designers. He has brought his distinctive visual flair to a plethora of projects ranging from jewellery, ceramics, wristwatches and fashion accessories to flagship stores for some of the most coveted brands in the world. Namechecked by both Time and Wallpaper magazine as one of the most important designers of his generation, he has won multiple Elle Deco awards.
As its name suggests, the Catch JH1 Chair Frame Oak from &Tradition seems to beckon you with a welcoming embrace. There's a human, gingerbread-man-like quality to its curvy outline, with armrests that resemble stumpy, outstretched limbs. Measuring 88cm in height and 58cm in width, the seat consists of a stiff polyurethane foam shell with additional soft foam padding and monochrome upholstery. This rests upon four legs made of solid oak in a choice of finishes. Supportive and comfortable, the Catch JH1 Chair Frame Oak is a gently humorous alternative to standard office chairs.
